Hi, I'm an elementary classroom teacher with 10 years experience working at Lena Shaw Elementary School. I'm starting a new assignment working with social development students and encourage any teaching success stories.

The purpose of this small class (maximum) eight pupils is to provide an appropriate educational setting for pupils 6 through 12 years of age who consistently exhibit behaviours which interfere with adjustment to school and classroom routine and which make learning difficult for themselves and other pupils. Principals, teachers, and/or counsellors may refer pupils to this program through a referral to the Surrey School District's Student Services Department.
