Lena Shaw School

Lena School is located in Surrey School District #36, Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Our inner-city school has over 550 students and 40 teachers. The current principal is Mr. J. Mitchell. We offer a variety of programs and services such as counselling, learning assistance, resource room, social development class, and first nation support.

Mission Statement

The educational program at Lena Shaw Elementary will address the whole child, providing encouragement and opportunities for each child to develope to his/her potential in intellectual, physical, social, and emotional areas.

Current Goal

Lena Shaw will be going online in September of 1999. Both the teachers and the students were surveyed as to their computer and Internet skills. We need HELP!! Please E-Mail Sue with any teaching and Internet ideas.
